Stop chasing unavailable love
You do not have to chase what is meant to meet you. You have heard the sentence. It sounds like peace. And then a certain kind of man goes quiet for four days and you find yourself rereading the last message to work out what you did wrong.
Here is what is happening. When attention arrives unpredictably — warm on Tuesday, gone on Thursday, back on Sunday — the waiting itself starts producing the feeling you have been calling attraction. The uncertainty is doing the work. Not him.
I adjure you, daughters of Jerusalem, that you not stir up, nor awaken love, until it so desires.
